Please tell us a little about yourself:
I started my career in the coffee industry as a barista in 2011. After working in various specialty coffee shops, I now find myself in one of the biggest Greek coffee companies, Coffee Republic S.A. , working as a roaster and production assistant for our specialty project, Cafeistas.
How did you get started in coffee?:
I started working as a barista at my sister’s specialty coffee shop in 2011.
Please list the coffee competitions you have participated in, what year they took place, and your results:
Greek Cup Tasting Championship 2019 – 1st Place
What are you excited to do in Berlin?:
Visit the city, visit a lot of coffee shops, and get to know all about the specialty culture of Berlin.
What is your favourite coffee to cup?:
My favorite coffees to cup are all the African coffees, especially the ones from Kenya.
What are your interests outside of coffee?:
Coffee, beer, and field hockey!
Where do you see yourself in five years?:
I would like to evolve as much as I can as a coffee person, knowledge never ends.
Is there anyone you would like to thank or recognize, or who helped you to prepare for the WCTC?:
I would like to thank my company and all my colleagues for helping me prepare for the competition, and supporting me all the way to the national and world championships.
