With the goal of bringing All-Stars from a range of the most popular different World Coffee Championships events to Addis Ababa for the AFCA Conference, three US All-Stars will help demonstrate their competition disciplines at All-Stars Extracts Addis Ababa on February 15-17th:  Amanda Juris, 2014 World Cup Tasters Championship Finalist, Sarah Jean Anderson, 2015 World Brewers Cup Finalist, and Lemuel Butler, 2016 World Barista Championship finalist.

World Coffee Events is excited to be putting on its first All-Stars event in the region, and looks forward to sharing in the AFCA community’s excitement for coffee. We invite you to come learn more about the World Barista Championship, World Brewers Cup, and World Cup Tasters Championship—these three All-Stars are competition veterans and seasoned World Finalists, who can’t wait to share the experience of coffee.

This first African regional event has been sponsored by the USAID-East Africa Trade and Investment Hub (the Hub). The goal of the Hub is to deepen regional integration, increase competitiveness of select regional agriculture value chains, and promote two-way trade between Eastern Africa & U.S.A under the African Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA). Coffee is one of the key value chains the Hub is supporting.
