Please tell us a little about yourself:
Hi my name is Daniel, and I’ve worked with coffee for almost 14 years. I’m a barista trainer and I love to meet new people every day and share my passion with them.
How did you get started in coffee?:
As a college job.
Please list the coffee competitions you have participated in, what year they took place, and your results:
2015 Irish Latte Art Championship – 8th Place
2016/2018 Irish Latte Art Championship – Finalist
2016/2018 Irish Cup Tasters Champion
2018 London Coffee Master – 3rd Place
What are you excited to do while you are in Brazil?:
Enjoy the Brazilian summer and drink some caipirinhas:).
What is your favorite coffee to cup?:
All specialty coffees are lovely to cup. My favourite are Kenyan and Ethiopian coffees.
What are your interests outside of coffee?:
Sports and music.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?:
Still working with coffee and maybe own my coffee shop.
