Please tell us a little about yourself:
I am the green buyer of Caravan Coffee Roasters and Raw Material UK . Originally from Taiwan now based in London. Throughout my coffee career, I have worked in all sectors of the coffee supply chain, including being a barista, coffee event management, roasting, quality control, green sourcing, and coffee farming. During this journey, I found my true passion in the sensory elements of coffee, which started after my struggle, and recovery from bulimia.
How did you get started in coffee?:
I really enjoyed Melbourne café culture whilst living there in 2010. Then I headed off to London to learn more about making coffee. And I never returned home.

2017 and 2018 UK Cup Tasting Champion
2017 World Cup Tasting Championship – 3rd Place
What are you excited to do while you are in Brazil?:
Mainly just exploring a different culture!
What is your favorite coffee to cup?:
At the moment it’s Rwandan coffee. It is clean and juicy, and has loads of different profiles that we could find in Kenya or Ethiopia! Also the natural and honey coffees from Rwanda are so clean.
What are your interests outside of coffee?:
I enjoy running and traveling.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?:
Dedicating to coffee sourcing and building communication between farmers, buyers, and roasters.
