Please tell us a little about yourself:
An enthusiastic coffee professional living in Melbourne Australia!
How did you get started in coffee?:
I first encountered coffee at a restaurant back in Brisbane 5 years ago. Shortly after, I worked as a barista at a roastery. I was absolutely enchanted by coffee and got drawn in instantly. After having about a year there, I decided to move down to Melbourne to pursue my passion in coffee. Journeying through the Melbourne coffee scene, I was lucky to encounter all the people I have met to this point, who have always been inspiring and have helped me to grow.
Please list the coffee competitions you have participated in, what year they took place, and your results:
2019 ASCA TCX Cup Tasters Championship – 1st Place
2019 ASCA Southern Region Cup tasters Championship – 2nd Place
2016 ASCA Hutamaki Cup Tasters Championship – Open Heat
What are you excited to do in Berlin?:
As another main city of coffee in Europe, I am thrilled to meet all the local and international coffee professionals coming together in one place for the 2019 World Coffee Championships. Besides that, I’m looking forward to a Schweinshaxe feast !
What is your favourite coffee to cup?:
East African Coffees
What are your interests outside of coffee?:
I have unconditional love for all music, embracing all genres!
Where do you see yourself in five years?:
I still see myself competing in Barista Championships/Brewers Championships, travelling around the world.
