How did you get started in coffee?:
I started in 2013 by studying at Escuela Venezolana del Cafe (Venezuelan Coffee School)
Please list the coffee competitions you have participated in, what year they took place, and your results:
Panama Brewers Cup 2017 – 1st Place
Panama Barista Championship 2016 – 3rd Place
What are you excited to do while you are in Brazil?:
Winning the championship and learning about the local culture
What was your first amazing experience with coffee?:
When I taste my first cup of Panama Geisha.
What is your favorite coffee brewing method and why?:
I do not have a favourite method, but the one I use the most is V60 because it allows more control.
What coffee-producing country most interests or excites you?:
Venezuela and Kenya.
What are your interests outside of coffee?:
Bread, surfing, and Business.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?:
I’m not sure yet.

My wife and my brother.
