This webinar was held on December 15, 2022, and an opportunity to learn about the WCC Competitions Strategic Committee (CSC) and their work to date, look at upcoming initiatives, and give feedback. Various community groups have grown and evolved the World Coffee Championships (WCCs) since their inception. The current CSC structure was established in 2017, and is a volunteer leadership group focused on aligning a vision and purpose for the WCCs), guided by six strategic objectives. The group is responsible for the evolution of the WCCs, including rules & regulations updates, and helps with arbitration. They represent a broad range of experiences across competition formats, stakeholder groups, and regions.
