Please tell us a little about yourself:
I am a coffee roaster, I have worked in the coffee industry for around 9 years. I started as a barista but as I discovered and learned more about Colombian coffee—it’s different flavors, varieties, processes, roasting processes and cup evaluation—I learned to love it. I currently work as a coffee roaster and cup taster in Amor Perfecto Cafe, where I have improved and learned every day. Coffee has such a huge importance to our economy, and it’s coffee producers that are the most valuable in the coffee world.
How did you get started in coffee?:
My first job at the café, was as a barista, and I remember being very passionate about learning more and more.

2014 Colombian Cup Taster Championship – 21st Place
2015 Colombian Cup Taster Champioship 2015 – 19th Place
2016 Colombian Cup Taster Championship – 3rd Place
2017 Colombian Cup Taster Championship – 1st Place
What is your favorite coffee to cup?:
My favorite cup of coffee has to be a soft and delicious Colombian coffee, in a quiet place with an interesting conversation while enjoying every sip.
