Sebastian De Rodt

Sebastian has been involved in the coffee industry since 2010, beginning in a specialty coffee roasting company in Santiago, Chile.

Since then, Sebastian has started his own company, which he currently directs, dedicated to global green coffee sourcing. It also focuses on brand representation for a diverse range of coffee equipment and supplies, including grinders, packaging, coffee brewing equipment, etc.

In 2018, along with 3 partners, Sebastian purchased land in Perú, where they are excited to dedicate their efforts to the upcoming harvests, processing, and building its potential.

His judge certification journey started in 2012, and since then he has supported national competitions in Latin America, volunteering as a judge in 4 World Coffee Championships to date, and has also participated as a Cup of Excellence Judge in Rwanda and Burundi.

Sebastian is very motivated by supporting people and local competitions, the dynamic nature of the coffee industry, and it’s constant (positive) challenges that encourage him to improve and be better.
