Please tell us a little about yourself:
I have worked in the coffee industry for a number of years—started out as a barista (and still am), along with other roles related to QC, training, and product development.
What are you excited to do in Boston?:
Maybe we’ll be just in time for NHL or NBA playoffs in town? I’m actually quite stoked about that. I’d like to explore coastal New England in general, there are some interesting histories here.
Please list the coffee competitions you have participated in, what year they took place, and your results:
2011 Canadian Cup Tasters Championship – Champion
2012 WCTC: 20-something in the preliminary
2013-2016, 2018 Taiwan Barista Championship: Semi-finalist, 3rd Place, 4th place, and two wins.
2017 WBC: Semi-finalist
Where do you see yourself in five years?:
I don’t think I got it right 5 years ago seeing what I’m doing right now… Maybe working on a film project that has some aspects about coffee.
