Please tell us a little about yourself:
My name is GuoQiang Liu, I am a barista since 2014. I am the 2019 China Latte Art Champion, and so proud of my job.
How did you get started in coffee?:
I really wanted a new cell at that time. LOL.

2017 China Latte Art, 12th
2018 China Latte Art, 12th
2019 China Latte Art, Champion
What are you excited to do in Berlin?:
I am so excited about get to know coffee artist from all over the world and learn from them.
What is the most unusual vessel you have poured latte art into?:
A milk box… and a bowl …
What is the secret to great latte art?:
Do it the “right way”, practice a lot, and think!
What are your interests outside of coffee?:
Basketball and online games. I haven’t got a second to do them though while I practice for this competition.
Where do you see yourself in five years?:
I hope to be a World Latte Art Champion.
