Please tell us a little about yourself: 

I am currently working at The Populus in Singapore. I have been in the specialty coffee industry for two years.

What are you excited to do in Boston?:

The main thing on my mind is to share my ideas of specialty coffee through my routine. I am elated to be able to represent Singapore on the world stage. I am also excited to be exploring Boston and New York, as it is my first time travelling to the US.

Please list the coffee competitions you have participated in, what year they took place, and your results:

Singapore National Barista Championship, 2019 – 1st Place.
Singapore National Barista Championship, 2018 – 3rd Runner Up.

How do you see the coffee industry changing in the future?:

I can see the coffee industry heading in two directions. One, focusing on improving quality of coffee. The other, focusing on appreciating quality coffee.

Where do you see yourself in five years?:

Learning more about specialty coffee and even more from it.

What are your interests outside of coffee?:

Travelling and working out.
