Please tell us a little about yourself:
I really love what I do. Coffee helped me to find myself.
How did you get started in coffee?:
Accidentally, alongside my studies. But coffee turned my life upside down :)
Please list the coffee competitions you have participated in, what year they took place, and your results:
Lithuania Barista Championship 2011/2013 – 3rd/2nd place
Lithuania Latte Art Champion 2013 – 1st Place
2013 World Latte Art Championship Nice – 14th Place
Lithuania Cuptasters Championship 2013/2016/2017/2018 – 2nd Place x 3 & 3rd Place
What are you excited to do in Berlin?:
The best thing for me is to meet a lot of passionate coffee people and share the experience. And of course I’m excited to do my best in the competition. I really wanted to get this opportunity to compete in the worlds again and will do my best there.
What is the most unusual vessel you have poured latte art into?:
A portafilter
What is the secret to great latte art?:
The best way is to relax and just love what you do
What are your interests outside of coffee?:
Films, books, travelling, yoga.
Where do you see yourself in five years?:
Working deeply with coffee, building Taste Map as a sustainable and responsible business, with some amazing roasted coffees.
Is there anyone you would like to thank or recognize, or who helped you to prepare for the WLAC?:
I am really thankful for my family who’ve never stopped believing in me, and have supported me the entire time.
