I’m 22 years old, started as a barista, and have learnt about roasting. I love food, cocktails, and visiting farms.
How did you get started in coffee?:
In highschool a barista prepared a almond latte that sparked a desire to learn about coffee, then I cupped specialty coffee at the SCA of Costa Rica and the world changed.

What are you excited to do while you are in Brazil?:
Taste typical food, and visit Belo Horizonte’s cultural places and markets.
What was your first amazing experience with coffee?:
Cupping specialty coffee and appreciating all the flavors and aromas it had. Mindblowing.
Besides your own competition drink, do you have a favorite cocktail?:
Negroni.
What coffee-producing country most interests or excites you?:
Ethiopia or Kenya.
What are your interests outside of coffee?:
Cooking, languages, pottery, and traveling.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?:
I see myself running my own coffee shop in the beach.
Is there anyone you would like to thank or recognize, or who helped you to prepare for the competition?:
My mom and grandma for always pushing me to do better, my girlfriend, team and friends, for being super supportive.
