Please tell us a little about yourself:
I’ve been a barista for 4 years now, 3 years in specialty coffee. I’ve been a footballer since I was a child and it is my second passion. I’m a student, too. I’m in my last year, so I hope to graduate after the Berlin World Coffee Championships :) Latte Art is the thing that I love the most about working with coffee, although I usually drink black coffee brewed with a V60 or AeroPress.
How did you get started in coffee?:
I just needed some money as a rookie student and a young footballer. Learning latte art was the first thing that I achieved at my first coffeeshop, and it still makes me want to improve more and more.

What are you excited to do in Berlin?:
Mostly, I’m excited to meet other baristas and champions from other countries. It’s all about fun and making friends, isn’t it?
What is the most unusual vessel you have poured latte art into?:
I think it’s probably a flowerpot? Avocado, orange, bottle of water, ice cone, and a portafilter are all pretty unusual things I’ve tried to pour into too.
What is the secret to great latte art?:
Having fun of it, but also patience.
What are your interests outside of coffee?:
I love football and travelling :)
Where do you see yourself in five years?:
I’d like to have progressed in the world of latte art, sharing my work all around the world, travelling to other countries, and make new friends.
