Mike Yung

Mike started working in the coffee industry in 2006 at Caffè Artigiano in his hometown of Vancouver, Canada, while completing his university degree.  In 2007, Mike won the Canadian Barista Championships and placed fifth in the 2008 World Barista Championships.  Since 2009, Mike has certified as a technical, sensory, and head judge for the World Barista Championships.  He is also certified as a head judge since 2012 for the World Latte Art Championships and World Coffee in Good Spirits Championships, and since 2015 for the World Brewers Cup.  In 2013 Mike was nominated to serve on the World Coffee Events Advisory Board and served as the Advisory Board Chair in 2015.
