Michael has worked for 12 years in a variety of specialty coffee businesses both in Australia and, most recently, London, United Kingdom, With previous experience in Marketing Insight and Strategy roles (in the wine industry), Michael joined Volcano Coffee Works in 2014 as Head of Marketing and Business Development. In February 2015 Michael oversaw the launch of Assembly, a coffee roastery adopting a collective approach with cafes in order to develop openly shared consumer insight. Today he manages Assembly and is also currently in the process of developing a Volcano wholesale coffee venture which will be exclusively ‘direct to consumer.’
