Please tell us a little about yourself: 

I am currently the head of quality control in Gold Box Roastery Dubai.

How did you get started in coffee?:

It was when I saw latte art in a cup, and became curious on how they had done it. Then I started to search more about coffee, and I realized there was more to learn. Being in the coffee industry now makes me feel that there’s no end to the learning and being curious.

UAE National Championship (First Place) 2016 – 2017
World Brewers Cup Championship (29th Place, Round One) june 2017
UAE National Championship (Fourth Place) 2018- 2019
UAE National Cup Taster Championship (First Place)

What are you excited to do in Berlin?:

Drink a lot of coffee… and the hidden agenda is to drink beer more than coffee.

What is your favourite coffee to cup?:

Ethiopian coffee.

What are your interests outside of coffee?:

Reading comics, watching movies, surfing, sky diving, and sleeping.

Where do you see yourself in five years?:

Lying on the beach, holding a can of beer on my left, and with a beautiful girl sitting on my right.
