Please tell us a little about yourself:

I started my coffee journey 2 years ago. I was a regular barista until coffee brought me to it’s extraordinary sources. I started to learn about the stages of seed to cup, and from then I was amazed by cup tastings, and I am still amazed. I am now running my own coffee business, and hoping to bring all kinds of knowledge to people who love coffee as much as I do.

How did you get started in coffee?:

A cup of yirgacheffe coffee on my business trip in Taipei back in 2016 changed my life. It totally tickled my taste buds. And since then I believe what you see may be ordinary, but it could be extraordinary once you taste it.

Please list the coffee competitions you have participated in, what year they took place, and your results:

2018 WCE Cup Tasters Championship – First Round
2018 WCE Taiwan Roasting Championship Judge

What are you excited to do in Berlin?:

I can’t wait to explore the historical places of the city, and get to know about the coffee culture.

What is your favourite coffee to cup?:

It would be Honduran coffee, it is full-bodied with a sweet and mild taste.

What are your interests outside of coffee?:

I love going to the movie theater and discovering good music.

Where do you see yourself in five years?:

Able to pass on my experience and knowledge about coffee and all aspects of this field, especially roasting.

Is there anyone you would like to thank or recognize, or who helped you to prepare for the WCTC?:

I would like to thank my main sponsor, Damon Chen, owner of Blossom Valley Intl. And a huge thanks to my coach Roger Lu for being so generous by sharing his experiences. And a special thanks to everyone who helped me through this journey.
