I’m Joe Marie Lichangco from UCC Coffee Philippines!😊
How did you get started in coffee?:
I started as barista in early 2015.
Please list the coffee competitions you have participated in, what year they took place, and your results:
2016 Philippine National Championships – 2nd Place
2017 Philippine National Championships – 4th Place
2018 Philippine National Championships – Champion
What are you excited to do while you are in Brazil?:
I’m excited to watch other competitions and visits some places .
What is the most unusual vessel you have poured latte art into?:
Making a combo design in 1oz shot glass 😊 It makes it more fun for me to pour into that!
What is your secret to making great latte art?:
I always follow the basics, and improve on them to make creative latte art.
What are your interests outside of coffee?:
Sports, basketball in particular 😊
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?:
I can never see myself stopping competing around the world!
