Please tell us a little about yourself:
I’m passionate about coffee, I like, learn, and share. I’m 36 years old and have spent 12 years in the coffee industry.
How did you get started in coffee?:
I’m from a family of coffee consumers so it was easy to love the magic behind coffee.
Please list the coffee competitions you have participated in, what year they took place, and your results:
I placed 5th in the 2008 Colombian Barista Championship, and have just participated in the UAE Aeropress and Cup Tasters Championship.
What are you excited to do while you are in Brazil?:
Oh, it’ll be a coffee week! I’m hoping to try the best coffees from Brazil, and catching the Brewers Cup competitors. Also, Coffee in Good Spirits is always amazing.
What is your favorite coffee to cup?:
Don’t have a favorite, I just love good coffee, and the effort to make the best.
What are your interests outside of coffee?:
Like wine, mixology, and educational activities.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?:
I hope to be an AST trainer, Q-grader, and have a coffee diploma… I’d like to be the World Cup Tasting and World Coffee Roasting Champion.
