Please tell us a little about yourself:
Im just a simple guy who is passionate about coffee. ☕️ Making coffee is my passion and being a barista is my profession. I’m currently working as the Head Barista of Blacksmith Cafe in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
How did you get started in coffee?:
I started in Coffee industry when my aunt asked me if I wanted to take a Barista Training Course, I said yes even though I didn’t know what it meant. In 2010 I went to a free barista training provided by the Philippine Government and conducted by TESDA. During the training I feel in love with coffee, it’s history, and it’s different varieties.

What are you excited to do in Berlin?:
I’m planning on doing coffee crawls, meeting barista friends from different countries, and a tour of Berlin.
What is the secret to great latte art?:
Great imagination, a great shot of espresso, and well steamed milk.
What are your interests outside of coffee?:
Fishing 🎣
Playing Basketball 🏀
Cooking 🍳
Where do you see yourself in five years?:
As a World Champion.
